There's a lot of bad food on this thread because the best of everything is found in my kitchen/backyard

Lowake

Loved having our lease in Ballinger and making a trip out there for some steak. The new restaurant set up with the bar area is nice to watch a game.
My mom is from Ballinger. We always ate at Lowake when we went dove hunting every year out there. Been a long time since I've been out that way though. Was always enamored with it because they had an airstrip for private pilots. Thought that was amazing as a kid.

I agree. Had dinner there a couple of months ago; had Tacos a la Ninfa. The tortillas were rock hard and the meat cold and tough.
