Looks awesome, but aren't you a week early?

Going at it for year 4 and growing in popularity, we are expecting 20-22 this year so we are going to add some canned/tinned fish since they are "in" right now and easy. Any suggestions other than on toast or cracker for canned fish?
Sounds stressful. Not sure I could sit and watch all that.Marsh said:
Mixed feelings on whether it will happen. Last time my family did it, my mom had a mental break down and drove a car through the house.
My sister just wouldn't stop asking if she was "OK" even though it was pretty clear she wasn't OK.
Also, I'm kinda running my own restaurant that my brother left me (RIP) and it's hard to focus on anything else.
Yeah, I also owe my uncle Jimmy a lot of money and seeing him can be a bit awkward. Not to mention that ******* Lee may be there.
Anyway, this thread would be 50x better if yall would post pictures of your final dishes.
Unfortunately, we don't have a ton of seafood eaters in my family, so we're discussing doing a Feast of Seven Dishes, but may not be able to get everyone together until January.Ornlu said:Bump!Keeper of The Spirits said:

Our final menu:
Merenda: Smoked trout dip
Hors D'oeuvres: Seared sea scallops
Primi: Snapper al'aqua pazza
Insalata: Caesar salad with snapper skin-crisps
Secundi: shrimp fra diavolo
Apperti: lobster bisque
Remise en bouche: tuna crudo with micro mint and caracao oranges
Dessert: tiramisu
(Mixing French and Italian recipes for these)
Gonna invite about 10 people over, and feast all day.
