Anyone out here have a good spot to pick up sausage making supplies?

I've used Midway in katy and that czech place in Rosenberg in the past, but its ben a few years now. Any other options?

Amazon sells casings. These seemed to work pretty good.

Natural Hog Casings for Sausage by Oversea Casing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EZTIGNA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qaFcCbNBQH9RT

Just don't leave the package on the floor of your entryway if you have dogs.

Second Academy. Pretty complete selection of sausage making needs there now.

How many lbs are you making?

If you are making over 200 lbs, it might be worth going by one of the commercial sausage manufacturers and asking if they will sell you some of their casings (Blue Ribbon Sausage and Frenchy's Sausage are both on the Northwest side). They should be much better quality than what you can get at Academy. I don't know what kind Kenco sells, so I can't speak to that.

If you are making less than 200 lbs, the other places should be fine.

Twenty bucks worth of casings from amazon, cabelas, sportsmans warehouse, academy, etc will do a LOT of sausage.

I did a bunch of venison/jalapeno/cheese earlier in the fall.
