Hello all,

I moved out of state about 8 years ago and now live out west. I am headed back to TX next weekend for final 4 in San Antonio.

Best recs for BBQ and Tex-Mex in San Antonio?

Thanks!

Little Taco Factory #2 for Tex Mex... absolute hole in the wall. One of our favorites when we visit.

So....uhhh....you know A&M won't be there, right?

I have nothing else to add other than I love Magnolia Pancake Haus for breakfast.

I'm a La Fogata loyalist, but Los Barrios is acceptable.

I'll echo the 2M and Cascabel. 2M is top 5 BBQ in the state.

Now if you're looking for BBQ & TexMex all in one stop: King's Hwy Brew & Cue is terrific.

1) There is no good BBQ in San Antonio - make the drive to Luling and Lockhart.

2) I like Blanco Cafe for enchiladas...

BRUHHHHHH... There are several places that would make a BBQ list before the two spots in Luling (2M, Kings Hwy, The Granary, B&D). It's not the barbecue destination it used to be. There's just too many good places around now.

You should take the advice in this thread yourself and make a visit to 2M because that barbecue is about as good as you'll find anywhere. It'll change your tune real fast.

That used to be true, not even remotely anymore.

Ray's Puffy Tacos or Henry's Puffy Tacos for a unique San Antonio tradition!
