In looking at the HTown FAQ post, FIDO98's enchiladas with chili con carne reference appears. Of course, many current posts are OP'ed or replied to by GrueneTownFIDO.

The urban dictionary defines FIDO as F--- It Drive On. Is FIDO an acronym? Is it the more classic reference to a dog? Or something else entirely?

This is a serious post and is not meant to be disrespectful in any way. I'd really like to know.

I was a member of the Corps outfit D-2 back in the day and class of 98. Our motto was FIDO which stood for exactly whaf you found on your own. You 'earned' FIDO late in the freshman year after you proved you could stick it out after 9 months worth of ..... lets just say ..... inconvenient circumstances. That's why I was 'drive on' for a while as well.

Thanks.

My folks lived in Bryan & even though I wore the uniform & marched on Saturday mornings, Day-Ducks weren't "real" Aggies that lived in dorms, marched to meals, babo bombed upper classmen and had to endure pisshead justice 24/7.
