Good news, it's been about 6 weeks. Do they normally send tracking info? I got one bottle from them and no email that it was coming, it just showed up.

For the summer marathon, they usually communicate when the shipments will start going out via social media and email.

This time around, i just got an email from FedEx saying I had a delivery coming that needed to be signed for -- no notification from Last Bottle.

Same here. No communication. Just a text from fedex saying today was the day!

I don't have a formula and CT ratings can vary widely. And, CT in my opinion rates conservative, but I usually pass at less than 90 and like to see 93+ before dropping $100 on a bottle.

My boxes showed up today. No comms. Fortunately wife happened to be home to sign for them.

I got my LB marathon wines Tuesday when the wind chill was -25 here. They were nice and chilled!

I did get an email from them early last week that they were on the way, and then multiple emails from FedEx about when they'd be delivered.

I skipped today's offering. Seemed like the wine is probably well past its prime from reading the recent notes on CT.

I just received two LB shipments, one from the December marathon and one normal offering.

I didn't get emails/notifications for either. FedEx emailed my wife the tracking info, assume because our house address is under her account.

Not a big deal for us. But can see how that can be annoying for some.

Wine.com has an option for delivery at Walgreen's stores.

It's super easy -- you get an email that your wine has arrived and you have seven days to pick it up. None of this waiting around for hours to sign for a package that may or may not arrive.

Sounds like you need to get signed up for notifications from FedEx, I get texts and emails and can reschedule delivery as needed.

Yeah, that's what my wife has. Again, fine for us.

But every other place we order wine (or anything for that matter) from emails us before it ships, when it ships, usually during the shipment, and once it's been delivered. Odd to me that LB system doesn't send at least one email when the packing label is printed. htxag09, your order 123 shipment details are below...

Not hard to do...Especially like something for wine where you have to be present to sign for it.

You can also list a FedEx office near you and they will hold it for you. Usually they will call you once it's arrived and you can swing by and pick up.

Kokomo Zin and Patz & Hall Chard on the docket between yesterday and today.

California is a big state with many vastly different wine regions and styles and approaches! Always something for anyone from someone and or somewhere in the state. I also dig Occidental area vineyards. If you haven't yet, try exploring Fort Ross and Petaluma Gap a bit as a step off from that area.

Well I received all of mine except the magnum Champagne Paul Dthune Blanc de Noirs Les Crayeres Extra Brut Grand Cru 2015.

This morning on the app it said processing, when someone emailed me back about me asking where it might be, I checked the app and it now said shipped.

Hoping it gets figured out because from what I've seen they aren't the best to deal with.

Best Futo I've had so far. 2012 is second and prob just needs more age.




Notes: soft up front, long finish. You can definitely taste the impact of the Cab Franc in the finish. Broad, note of red berry, baking spice, earth. Maybe some dark cherry too. Fabulous wine, Futo is one of my favs

Gap's Crown is a great vineyard! I had the general Sonoma pinot from Trombetta a couple of years back now and it was great, very nice value. I think I posted on this thread once not too long ago about how Sonoma Coast Pinots offer some of the best bang for your buck.

I'm not sure it is consistent with bang for your buck, but we had the Occidental Cuvee Elizabeth as a pairing for a course at Alinea and were blown away.

Sojourn has a pretty nice Gap's Crown pinot, but it's also their most expensive.

I just bought my annual bottle of Realm Dr. Crane. I keep saying I wont, but I always do.

I thought it was odd I didn't receive any allocated bottles. Just wish list. Don't buy one year and they kick you to the curb I guess.

I still have 15 bottles I'm willing to trade or sell. Keeping the '15 Absurd just because...
