I know we usually win the ROTC division (or frequently do). But is this the highest we've placed in overall? At least in a very long time?

It was being referred to by people with the program as our best finish ever but there may be some history out there that no one recalls. 2nd was well within range but we had a rough zodiac event. The program needs a Milpro Commando zodiac to practice with - anyone have one they can borrow or want to donate? They run about $30k…

I just read the history of this on the USMA website and I was interested to see that international teams from the UK, Canada and Australia have won it many times. This definitely seems like something A&M could work on and win moving forward (much like the marksmanship unit wins matches against the service academies). Anybody here well placed in the CCA? I'd bet they could come up with funds for the zodiac.

My son is on the Ranger challenge team at Embry Riddle (prescott, Az campus). They were supposed to have a good year this year despite being a very small unit. But they redid the districts this year and A&M ended up being in their district and, well, we know how that turned out.

While stationed at USMA we would watch Sandhurst. This is what the USMA teams train for all year long. They have internal Sandhurst, and pull their top 2 teams from their internal winners. Sandhurst is the "sport" that they play, as all cadets are required to play a sport.

It was always a blast hanging out with the kids at Lusk watching the boat events. We would come out with our Aggie gear and cheer on the good guys.
