My son has decided to join the Corps and to sign a contract his Jr year. He has figured all of this out on his own and I need help guiding him through the process. I am a non-reg, so I have no idea how any of this works.
He is a Jr in HS right now and is top 3-5% of his class. He wants to pursue a Medical path through the Military. We want to schedule a Spring visit to to campus to get him in front of a counselor and start figuring out how we need to proceed. Some questions:
Any guidance would be appreciated.
His short BIO:
Thanks in advance.

- Does the Corps have its own counselors?
- How do we inquire about scholarships through the Corps?
- He is unsure as to which branch he wants to go, Navy, Army, AF, does he need to designate that to be in a specific unit? - He really wants to go Marines, but alas, no MD's there to my knowledge.
- Wants to study Bio medical engineering
- Grandpa is class of '76 and I am class of '98
Any guidance would be appreciated.
