This is Trevor Voelkel (A-Batt '02) talking about the 101st honoring the "Angels of Bastogne." He was also recently featured in a video release regarding the new rifle the Army is adopting.

I was one of Trevor's pissheads, and he was extremely squared away way back when. That appears to still be the case.

He was my MSIII instructor at Texas A&M ARTOC.

Squared away but very empathetic and approachable.

I remember meeting him in FOW and continually getting his name wrong. His response ... "VOELKEL! VOELKEL! LIKE YOUR VOCAL CORDS!!!"

He did not seem very empathetic or approachable to me.

(But yes he turned out to be a great guy)
