Is there a list out there of Aggies currtently holding a flag rank?

The subject came up when I was introduced to a retired general when I was up visiting some family in Illinois a few weeks ago. I know of at least one on active in the marines that was promoted over the summer to BGen but not others.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping this would be something that the Corps/University had out there like the TAMU SID has with "Aggies in the NFL/NBA/MLB" lists.

The one I knew that was promoted to BGen over the summer is James Lively '96.

I remember Jim Lively. Pretty sure he was corps staff my fish year. He was Rev's handler from that class too right?

Wasn't it the "new" Rev? The puppy? And they staked out his house for a long time right?

Yep. He lived in my current hood. His mom let her out to pee and poof. It was a prank, she was never in harm's way. When things blew up as quickly as they did (pre-internet too), they tied her to a tree and called the cops.

I darn sure wouldn't wanted to have been in his shoes though.

You can meet Lieutenant General John B. Sylvester 1967 at every home football and baseball game. He sits with my FIL in the flag room (across from piano, against the wall) before each game. He also sits with my FIL at each Baseball game just across from the bubble rental desk.

He failed out of A&M his fish year, enlisted in the Army, got back into A&M and made 3-star. So, he went from E-1 to O9.
When the truth comes out, do not ask me how I knew.

I loved the John Sylvester interview in "Fields of Armor", talking about deploying from Germany to Desert Storm.

I didn't know he was an Aggie until later.
