How long do you want to ignore this user?
Earl Rudder discussed the 2nd Ranger assault on Pointe du Hoc during a commisioning speech in 1968(?). Is there any archive of that speech? It seems like someting the A&M archiviste would want to preserve, but I have never been able to find a recording.

You'd probably have better luck looking for a typed or handwritten copy of the speech, If Rudder used such a thing when he gave the address. If it exists, it would probably been in Rudder's papers, which I assume are held by Cushing Library.

Things like commencement or commissioning addresses weren't routinely recorded until fairly recently. Unless the ceremony was televised, there isn't likely to be video of it.
