Son went to OCS last summer. Finished and will be USMC 2nd Lt in June 2024.

They never mailed a W2 to him for his 2023 taxes.

He's been trying to get one, but the online system says he does not exist and he dies not have an EEID (i think that's what he said) number because technically he was never active duty.

He also tried calling, but it was a never ending circle jerk of automation.

Tried his OSO but he did not have any good advice either.

Texted a bunch of his buddies from OCS, they don't have a W2 either and can't seem to get one either.

Anyone have any ideas here or know who to call even a phone number with a person on the other end?

I was a 20 year guy and once transferred during W2 mailing time, I never got mine. My finance office was no help. The IRS was even less help. I took my last LES and wrote down the numbers and attached that to my retirn and mailed it in with a note saying that was all I had, there was no e-filing back in 1986. Got my refund a few weeks later.
Or maybe his pay was never reported. Or was non taxable.

It was taxable.

He found the number for Quantico command and got it straightened out.

You'd think this would be easier but "government".
