I heard from an Old Ag that cadets were no longer required to wear uniforms to classes or to go into the MSC or buildings on campus.

Please tell me that he was wrong and that we have not thrown the last shovel of dirt onto the grave of Old Army!

The ROTC departments can require them to be worn during ROTC classes and MILLAB, thats if they are willing to go against the Corps of Cadets civilian leadership. ROTC classes and the Corps of Cadets are two vastly different things. The wearing of the uniform during ROTC classes used to be a USACC (Army) requirement, but they can bend some if the situation warrants, like large scale protests and the such.

I'll confess one time in my 4 years I wore non-regs to class. It was towards the end of my zip year and I…..stayed overnight….elsewhere.

Lol. I was never a GC but carried our awards flag a few times pisshead year. Totally went to formation in whitebthsirt and Ag44, since I wasn't supposed to take my jacket off due to the flag harness.

We drilled in the AM. But every afternoon if we ran we'd see the quad queens out. Best thing about to keep dudes from falling out of a run was be running up on a cutie in short shorts and sports bra. Dudes would hang in there u til we got outta sight and then fall out and like.

Those were after my time. We'd have a couple piss heads wearing those old LBEs with canteens. I hated when it was my turn to carry those.

Not sure what you meant by attempted to run. We ran alot. I actually used to enjoy running , now I'd just probably die

Class of 12 here and my outfit used them still.

Haha I remember wearing them 2009-2010. One of the perks of being a fish was not having to carry anything, I always thought, man it looks brutal as a pisshead to carry those canteens.

Then I became said pisshead lol

Quadding was fun as sh8t. 35 35 gallon sh8t cans hot and cold from the forth stoop. Hanging grapes out of Pissheads and surge butt with duct tape. Paying dearly. Pig farm crap outs … You always had you buddies!

Quading was outlawed in '83 so I never was on the receiving end of it.

Many good nights with my wife of 10 years at the hall of fame. They closed it down right after I graduated. Glad to have those memories forever. Lot of whiskey sours and Roger Creager memories

I've got plenty of fish Creager memories, I was his ASL in B-Company. He was my fish.

He was a bona fide BQ, earned his band lyre but... it would have been much easier on me if he would have shined his brass and his shoes more frequently.

I'm glad to see that he's doing well and at this point is really a Texas singer-songwriter legend.

I wanna say '07ish timeframe had females on 4th floor of dorm 1, A-1 on third floor, A-2 on second floor, and staff on 1st?

You are very correct. I was in 12 my fish year, 2 PH and Butt and 4 Zip year. Fourth stoop fighter all four.

Lived in the same dorm as the Rev for four years. People don't understand why I don't get excited about seeing her in person. Doing a bazillion class sets for a dog as a fish was the ultimate hazing.

Living with the God Squad was worse..

I've been on campus twice in the last year. Saw plenty in Class Bs.

My only issues were wearing backpacks and the zip riding a scooter in midnights returning from graduation.
