If you rely on your military pay or pension to pay for your bills, you need to prepare for the end of the month. I just read on military.com that the pay could be delayed if the government doesn't get its act together. I think this happened back during the 90s. Back then, some banks actually honored the pay day, even though the government money was delayed.

I personally don't think it will get to that, but it's good to have your bases covered.
