A few years too late to realize my dream of being a space shuttle door gunner.

Maybe when they learn how to do brain transplants, they can put us in robot bodies and send us up there.

It's the Air Forces old space command split off to give its own seat on the joint chiefs. There is a lot more to it than that but that's the bottom line.

Did the cyber division stay with AF or go with the space dudes?

Cyber Command is one of the unified commands under the DOD, similar to CENCOM or other theater commands. It is currently commanded by a Marine General.
I don't know if Space Force has a component of USCyberCOM or not, but wouldn't be surprised.

I suspect there is a whole HECK of lot behind it.

USSPACECOM is a geographic CCMD with an AOR of 100 km and up and is commanded by GEN James Dickinson.

As for the cyber career field the majority stayed with the USAF but some did transfer over to the USSF, both enlisted and officer. Currently the career fields in the USSF consist of previous USAF space ops, engineer/acquisition, cyber, and intel career fields. All other support functions remain with the USAF. There have been ISTs from the other services as well with the preponderance being Army FA40 officers.
