That word caught my eye. It's the word my grandfather used to refer to his fellow WW I vets. 103 years ago he was in the trench in France the morning the Great War ended. His grandfather served in the Mexican War and later a drill sergeant in the Union Army, His grandfather was in a North Carolina regiment in the Revolution.

Me, 10 April '71- 10 April '73 US Army Field Artillery School Ft. Sill Oklahoma. 1Lt.

My Class of '50 dad, US Army Tech Sgt, Pacific Theater WW II

My son E-4 Iraq

Happy Veterans' Day

And that begs the question, does the apostrophe go before or after the "s"?
The person that is not willing to fight and die, if need be, for his country has no right to life.
