Most of you have heard some details about the Bin Laden raid from the SEAL side, in this interview the lead Army pilot goes into what the 160th did to make it all happen. It's long.

Most are old guys with dad bodes. The most bad assed helicopter pilots out there. Had their 60's and 47's land to refuel or transport SF operators at Abad numerous times. They were also operating in and out of of Penich.

I have two employees that were gunners on 160th 47's. One with DFC.

That was a great read. Yes, it was long, but well worth the time. Thank you for sharing it.
