At Fort Hood. One of the most organized Army operations I've seen. I was in and out during the lunch rush. Plenty of old people, Active duty and spouses too. It's even in my MEDPROS.

If you opt out, the units are documenting that as well. Big Army is Keeping tabs on who received it and who opts out. But the social media campaign is definitely pro-vaccine. It won't be the last shot the Army gives me either! Keep em coming.

Marathon,

How did signing up work? Were you scheduled through your unit? I am executing GRADSO not far from Hood and have been curious about how they are executing the vaccine distro. Thanks!

Did they scan your CAC as you walked through? I think they have the new electronic medical records system. Makes shotexes way faster and smoother, for the most part.

The answer is yes and no!

My unit has scheduled when I would be able to get it with the location and time.

I went ahead and took the initiative and got the vaccine on my own accord. I followed the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center Facebook page and saw they were doing a Vaccine drive today at Abrams gym.

Showed up, flashed my CAC Card, told me to sit down, filled out a couple sheets, talked to a nurse, got my Vaccine Card, got poked and i was on my way.

My next dose is at the same location on 2MAR.

I did not.

Beneficiaries may also book appointments for Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 at tricareonline.com.

Beneficiaries do not need an appointment for second dose.

Beneficiaries may walk-in between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Stay tuned for more information.
