I am posting this on the Football, the General, and the Military forums because these are the forums I know he has posted on. Edited to say that evidently, I also posted this on the Politics board
I did some checking on a military network site, not naming the site because I don't want the mods to think I am promoting another site and I asked the person that ArmyTanker claims to be if he ever posts on TexAgs under the name ArmyTanker. He replied to my inquiry with confirmation that he did, indeed, post on TexAgs under that name.
ArmyTanker IS NOT MFBarnes. I was one of the first posters to call him out as barnes, and I was very aggressive in calling him out. It turns out I was wrong, and I'm not too proud to admit my mistake.
I was dealing with some of my own PTSD demons and that is why I was so vocal in accusing ArmyTanker of being barnes. I'm not saying that justifies my actions, but I do offer it as an explanation. I am not proud of what I did, and I feel I have done a disservice to [Edit]
In the past, I have called out other posters for their hypocrisy, and for Not admitting when they were wrong or made a mistake. That is one reason I am writing this. I wanted to prove that I am not a hypocrite and admit my mistake and try to atone for my behavior.
