Any of you military Ags current or past members of the Army Navy Club in DC? I would be curious to know your thoughts. I am considering joining-am already a MOAA life member and despite not living in the DC area, will be able to get some sweet benefits and reciprocal membership matches out of it.

They are nice places. It seems those who joined early and paid the inactive fee benefitted from doing so. The folks I know who did it were locals prior to joining the military.

You stay in long enough you'll be in DC. Not a bad place to retire if you can stand the hustle and traffic... but I think it all depends on your long term plan.
