What are some of the (current) reputation of certain Corps outfits? I have heard old ones, but they obviously change. Anybody know anything about C-2?

I've heard they act like a bunch of Cocks.

They've produced a lot of strong leadership over the last few years. Their major unit commander in 2012-2013 came out of their outfit. Also, a good friend of mine from that outfit just commissioned in the Navy and received a BUDs training slot

I can tell you they're pretty good at basketball. My outfit beat them regular season for Corps A league, lost to them in the Corps tourney and we both got killed by frat teams in the All University tourney

Not sure what it is now, but P-2 produced a lot of great leaders in the military and a lot great business leaders as well.

Not sure if still looking for E-1 but I finished up in May so I don't think it has changed too much since I left. But we are just doing our usual thing. High whitebelt involvement in Cav and RV's. My Senior class had the Cav CO, XO, and Section Chief. Along with the RV XO, two RV squad leaders and then two color guard positions within the RV's where held by our other two RV buddies. This year I think the outfit had about 4-5 Cav jocks. The head yell leader and 2 RV red Sash. I know next year the outfit will again have a senior yell leader howevee I'm not sure on leadership selections for the class of '17.

Can't speak for the other outfits, but I could speak on behalf of SQ 17. Here are some of the highlights for the past few years:

- Fall 2016 GPA for freshmen was 2nd highest in Corps; outfit came in 6th overall
- 6/6 for pilot slots given in 2016
- Student Body Presidents both in 2013 and 2014, Yell Leaders both in 2015 and 2016, and Corps Commander in 2015 various other leaders across campus like Maroon Coats and SGA Executives
- Leadership and very well-represented within both RVs and PMC
-Winner Gates Award for public service, runner-up for university involvement
- Host of Run of Heroes 5k with Chi Omega to benefit Aggie Student Veterans on campus (past 3 years)
- Athletically successful; winner of upperclassmen flag past 2 years

I'm actually very interested in joining 17 next year, glad to see all it's doing well!

How about starting with the question which outfits are not integrated.

How is SQ 16 doing?

Oldord- the non integrated outfits are

Brigades outfits- B2,D2,E1,L1
Regiment outfits-E2, H1, K2, C2
Wing outfit- Sq. 17

I might have forgotten one. But I believe those are the only ones left as all male

Wow! Didn't know the integration push was that big.

The identity of outfits which are not presently integrated changes over time. C-2 has, in the past, had at least one female cadet as a zip (at least 1991-1992).

You're right. I heard C-2 had a female or 2 in the early 90's. I think my seniors (c/o '05) had one during FOW for a few days. Alstyne then set the integrated outfits that year.

At least those are the stories I remember; could be all bull or faulty memory though.

C-2 was for sure integrated in the 90's. They had females all the way up until '99 for sure. Don't know what happened after that.

E1 was integrated for a short time during the late 90s/early 00s as well. We integrated my head year and I THINK the last girl was c/o 2002 or 2003.

E1 has been a very strong outfit for a LONG time....but as others have shown (K1 and K2 for example), things can change quickly.
