Came to my old address which luckily was on post right down the road. My new XO just moved in and brought it to the company the other day. It was addressed to me with " '08 " on it so I'm thinking it was someone from the Association. No return address and I can't read the name signed. It reads:

Howdy,

I want to thank all of you Aggie troops for serving our nation. No matter how many post cards [SIC] ya'll get it is no enough. I want to thank you and ya'll are safe.

Just wondering. I'd love to say thank you to this person but apparently they want to stay anonymous. Seeing if anyone else has gotten one of these.

I seem to remember getting something along those lines last year but not that picture. More of a homemade card kinda deal

Yes I got on when I came back as well, but mine was of Kyle Field at dusk.

How are they finding out you 'got back'. Are we being tracked on a GPS chip??

Good question, Fly. I'm trying to figure out if it was when I got back or earlier as it still had my old rank and went to my old address. But the guy only got it a few weeks ago so who knows.

I believe this is from a program on campus where students write cards and notes to be sent to veterans. I'm not sure what organization runs it, but it's pretty neat. They set up tables around campus on Veteran's Day

I got a similar one at christmas time...my last deployment ended in 2007.
