They have a vendor come in and peddle them during basic training. Not kidding. Some kids spend a few hundred $$'s they don't have yet buying them.

Them and Grunt Style. Can't believe how many recruits buy those things at Basic. Drill Sergeants said to us "Why pay so much for those shirts, when you are gonna get to your duty station and every other turd has the same shirt?"
