has anyone seen the corps and army memes recently?

I saw the Corps and General Ramirez memes.

I had to have someone explain most of the General Ramirez memes to me though...

Looks like the rest of the Corps discovered ANYONE can make those thingson the memegenerator web site. It's starting to get nasty over there.

Could someone please explain the trays at Duncan to this non-reg? I have seen it referenced twice now...

They have these yellow trays there that say "Hullaballoo" on them. They are rare. I think for some cadets it's just "cool" to get one. Kinda nice to get something out of the normal routine I guess.

Is it true that cadets are not allowed to look at or create corps meme's? Or is this another dumb rumor?

There was an argument I heard last year on a very contentious issue. Went something like "just because you have the right doesn't mean its the right thing to do."

I hope you have a victory lap ahead of you and you can see what all nonregs say about cadets when they think none are around. I think you will see how bad the corps looks when you're looking at it from the outside.

I had a victory lap and I never heard any of that.

I heard it quite a bit, especially when a pissheads or fish would be oblivious to nonregs around them and say or do something stupid. Also went to a march in and watched how absolutely horrible the corps looked marching in. It was embarassing to and hard to watch.

I think some folks should examine exactly what upsets them so when I comment.

Hint: It's not because I'm wrong.

EGA, I don't know what planet you live on but you need to come back to Earth. I cringe when I hear cadets talking nonstop about Corps stuff ALL THE TIME around non-regs. I think a lot of blackbelts get caught up in the corps and think that the rest of the university looks at the corps like we are superior or all-knowing. We are a very acute minority now and not everyone cares about the same things we do. On the topic of the video, as a current cadet, I know the guy who made the video and it is without a doubt hilarious and true at the same time, but just like the memes, it has a place and that place really shouldn't be visible to everybody. I agree with the arguments that it is harmless and all in good fun, which I totally agree with, but you've got to think about everyone else who sees it. We complain about teasips giving us a hard time for all the "weird" stuff we do, then we go posting videos of things that might be interpreted differently by others. Just something to think about. And to all the old ags out there, I'd like to sincerely apologize for some of the remarks made by some of the cadets out there. I hope ya'll don't think that all of us are that rude and disrespectful in voicing our concerns and arguments to you.

Jjohnson, I think you misread my post. I never said I didn't hear cadets being tools and talking about the corps all the time. That crap happens all the time and I hated it. And I hate to break it to you... But that happens in the real military too.

So you never heard anyone bashing the Corps?
