Do any outfits still keep a live turkey in the dorm during the weeks prior to Thanksgiving?

No...not that I know of. Unless they are really good at keeping us bulls unaware of it.

My fish year (Fall 2000), IIRC, our outfit military adviser helped run interference to keep the rest of the Trigon and Corps Staff from finding out about it.

A certain outfit had a rat a few years ago. But I think they got caught. They had Commandant's walk through inspections in back to back weeks and were caught off guard, or something like that.

A couple of years ago, during dorm room inspections, I went into a RGT outfit room (Dorm 7) and there were two big white ducks in a large plastic tub in the room. I was stunned. I remember thinking, "What the hell are ducks doing in here." Kind of comical actually.

Back in 91-92 C-2 kept a rooster in Dorm 10. It was pure hell during bag-ins

I think it was 2003, I made my fish raise a couple of ducklings from Tractor Supply in their hole (dorm 12). They kept them in an empty footlocker with heat lamps and hay. Finally got to big and released them at the pond in front of the police station. I don't know how they never got busted during inspections, those ducks were LOUD!

we found a large bird that another outfit (A-1 i think) was hiding in spence park. IIRC they broke its wing or something so it couldn't fly away.

we had a short smoking on a friday afternoon, then the upperclassmen let us out early to butcher it up and grill it on those grills right outside the quad.
