Howdy,
I go to most every home game. My usual routine involves the quad, the cannon, step off and march in.

The Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets is doing a wonderful job on game day! Keep up the good work.

I do have one issue. Why are many Corps members not in their seats for Spirit?

Are you talking about before the game? It's probably because most of them run back to their dorms to grab some water, their 12th man towel, drop off sabers/guidons, maybe change uniforms if they sweated out the ones they marched in with, etc.

And all zips are standing behind the South end zone getting ready for bootline.

They have to meet up with their dates!

When I was a fish the seniors usually picked a fish to carry their sabers back to the quad. It could also be due to the corps marching in and then back out of the stadium to wait in line to get back into the stadium. Never really understood that one.

I understand about Zips at the boot line. They are there for Spirit, just not in their seats. Those returning their sabres, guidons, etc. I got that, too.

The rest, I don't understand. My head would have exploded if I ever missed Spirit.

Anyway, keep up the good work representing the best university in the world! I am proud of y'all!!

Have you ever witnessed the massive cluster f*** that is the Corps trying to get to their seats? literally you could stand in line to get to your seats for 30-45 minutes because all 2000 cadets are trying to get to their seats at once and they are all trying to get to their seats. I cannot tell you how many times I missed spirit and everything else because I was waiting to get to my seat. I maybe witnessed like 5 flyovers from my seat my 4 years in the Corps.
