Sadly, the only one that didn't make perfect sense to me was "yells at tree"

FDT commander "yells" at a tree. Back in the 90's the FDT commander used to yell at a wall.

This actually applied more to my Company Commander when I was a Platoon Leader. He was in the last all-male "rat" class from VMI and didn't have a very high opinion of females in uniform.

Not only was our Battalion Commander female, but she ensured that after I and the other two lieutenants left that he ended up with a female XO and female platoon leaders.
