Im currently stationed at Auburn University as an NROTC instructor. Myself and 17 of my MIDN will be participating in the marathon this weekend. As a Navy LT, I love the support that the Marines are giving us (free berthing at Quantico for the weekend) and a Col that has a son in the program, who is running the MCM with us, is providing all of us with dinner on Sat. night for our carbo load. Great support for what appears to be a great event.
While there, we are also meeting up with some of the Lt's at TBS to allow our USMC MIDN an opportunity to ask questions. We are also taking them to the Marine Corps museum.
I just wanted to post this Gator Sailor's appreciation for the Marine Corps.
Update: Marathon went great! Marines did a great job, as always!
