My elderly mother needs someone to come rip out her bathtub and put in a walk-in shower. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Might consider a roll-in shower (no curb). That would allow her to not have raise her leg and could avoid tripping. Also, would provide her easier access if she has a walker or wheelchair. Grab bars might also be a good idea.

I got a guy who did mine. Shows up 8:30 am and does 10 minutes smoke break every 45 minutes. Lazy. Forgets what the job is. Leaves after working 5 hours. Wants to be paid in full half way through. Said it would be done in 8 days. Complete in 21 days.

RJ Fite came out and gave us an estimate. Although I didn't end up using them, I wish I would have. Very nice guys and seemed knowledgeable.
