Saw one and had atrocious bedside manner and didn't address things I asked her… am in need of a second opinion…

There is a big shortage of neurologist in SA. I see one but can't recommend him in good conscience.

Oh no. Run away from her. Several years ago, I was referred to South Texas Ear Institute for some vestibular testing and at that time Dr Burt was with them and that's who I saw. Later I was in a follow up with my referring doc and she sald "Why did they put you with Dr. Burt? You have a neurologist." I said I didn't know and my doctor replied "Well between you and me, she's been around. She doesn't stay at one place long because she's a terrible doctor." So. Your instincts are correct.

Anyone heard about Dr Millar?
I went and checked out his google reviews, seems to be on par with most of the reviews, saying the staff is bad, not necessarily him.SW AG80 said:aznaggiegirl07 said:

Dr. Millar is who I go to. Nice guy. Was just starting out when I first saw him. There are now 3, I think, neurologists in that practice.
They sold their practice 3+ years ago. The staff is really bad. Poor communication, screw up appointments etc.
Two years ago I told Millar about his staff. That is when he told me that they had sold the practice and didn't have any say so nor control over who works there.
I still go to him because I have to see him only once a year. If I had a bad problem I would go elsewhere.
Oh, and since they sold out I have had some problems with their billing.
That is an alarming trend that keeps getting worse and worse as the clinics get gobbled up by corporations. Same with vet clinics. No or extremely poor customer service and communication and you can never talk to a real person that gives a *****aznaggiegirl07 said:I went and checked out his google reviews, seems to be on par with most of the reviews, saying the staff is bad, not necessarily him.SW AG80 said:aznaggiegirl07 said:
