Looking for an Orthopedic doctor recommendation in SA. Female, mid-twenties, with significant hip pain. Had surgery for dysplasia as a teenager. Saw the surgeon in Dallas a few weeks ago, and he doesn't believe the pain is related to her dysplasia. He prescribed some meds and PT, but they aren't helping. The Dallas surgeon did not know anybody to recommend in SA. Thanks in advance for your help!

I always recommend San Antonio ortho group-TSAOG. Ursone replaced my mothers hip earlier this year and he was really great. I saw Balldin in the same group when I fractured my foot both times.

Just had one hip done in August, and I'm scheduled for the next one in November. Had a great experience, no post operative pain, surgery only lasted an hour, rehab went smooth.

Dad used Dr Steffan for a knee…he is good as well as his internist as well during recovery.

Balldin is a great doc and hell of a soccer player

War Department just had surgery there for her tibia and ankle break Several others raved about them and have not been disappointed at all, highly recommend.

AgPT06, it is hard for find a good hip doctor that doesn't specialize in hip replacements. Your comment about Drs. Tabor and Marshall being good choices for young hips is interesting. Can you tell me how you came to that conclusion, or provide any other information? Please feel free to contact me via email; it's in my profile. Thank you very much.

I'm a physical therapist. I see young and old and yes there is a difference in hip issues with age. I just have seen good results with those two docs fur younger patients.

TSAOG is the best group I've ever worked with. Between football, racing motocross for Yamaha, bull riding and some high speed car wrecks while I was a police officer, my spine is a mess. I've lived with back pain for 40 years. First group that actually fixed me.

And Casey is a great guy. His dad was an Aggie.
