So Spectrum and Disney et al are in a pissing match. No ESPN nor SECN.

BUMMER.

Anybody know which cable service Aggie Park has. If it's spectrum, we're gonna play hell having a game watch party at the Park.

Just saw that myself. Seriously. Not happy with either of them. I pay for ESPN+ but I can't find the live games streamed through that. With the extra subscription you would think Disney would offer all of espn.

Bet Aggie Park gets lots of calls tomorrow.

I was already leaning towards cutting the cord (especially after my Spectrum promo pricing ran out a few months ago), but this pushed me over the edge tonight. Will switch to AT&T internet supporting YouTubeTV and should save money overall.

Real Bummer to wait for the "kickoff of Week 1" and then go from Herbstreet to blank screen. They/Spectrum/ESPN cut my service at kickoff. MU vs NU was a good game on the other channel. Called spectrum and negotiated that my cable charges are at $0 until the ESPN service comes back on. Please do the same before Saturday.

Just called Aggie Park. They said the Watch Party is still on. Someone will use their Youtube TV subscription to get the game up and going.

If they don't get this fixed by game time, I'm gonna watch the game with the Comal County A&M Club at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill in New Braunfels. Only problem is the Aggies are yet to outscore anyone when I've watched the game in NB.

YoutubeTV has zero issues.

I have been contemplating dropping Spectrum. The bill creep is simply beyond the pale, and they have gotten less willing to negotiate. The only thing holding me back is I have been a roadrunner email user for 17 years. I understand there is a way to ditch Spectrum and keep the RR address, but I don't know the details. Anyone know how to do that?

I don't even watch that much Disney stuff, but even the Fox entertainment stuff was blacked out last night. Ridiculous

cut the cord a few years ago and now just pay for YouTubeTv during the season and cancel in offseason with AT&T fiber.

We've had YouTubeTV for a few years now, and it's been fine.

That isn't cutting the cord.

You just switched content providers.

All of them are prone to the same pissing match.

Google stopped by last week and offered me a deal for Internet service for $70/month. I would then have to subscribe to a content provider like Fubo, YouTube TV or Sling at a rate near $100/month. At that point it starts approaching what I pay Spectrum.

Yep, a few years ago everyone thought they were getting one over on these companies.

I am full streaming for our content and I think it is a better experience (one device etc) but I probably pay about the same... maybe a little less.
