I used Red Pear, they advertise here. Very good team and have a realtor fee split option that I used.

Really looking around Randolph AFB - so Cibolo, Urniversal City … that area or super close to it

Crystal Lozano with JB Goodwin. She was our neighbor when we first moved here 11 years ago and helped us find our first house 7 years ago.

She also hooked us up with her cousin who is a mortgage broker. We weren't really considering one and were going to shop rates ourselves, but we met with her and decided to do it. She helped us out SO MUCH when it came to pre-approval and helped us find an incredible rate with a smaller mortgage company. She was also paid by the lender, so absolutely worth it.

it looks like we are going to be renting...

that being said, are there neighborhoods that we should avoid in the north east part of greater san antonio?

I need to rent now…do you know if they do rentals?

One I know did. Not sure about the other. I'm trying to find out if the one I used (a friend of my sister) still does realtor things. She found me a place off thousand oaks and wurbach parkway and she knows that area.

I also have a friend who lives off of 35/Topperwein in a pretty nice quiet mostly military neighborhood too. When I was in that area it was pretty economical and relatively safe, depending on where you were. If it was me, I'd probably look in this yellow area. I didn't include much north or east of Randolph but I prefer being more city than rural.



Edit: confirmed, the person who found my rental house is still active, her and her husband are both licensed and repped my sister's side when she closed on a house a few weeks ago (not in SA) so I'm guessing they could help. I've been texting my sister but I also texted the realtor i used, will pass along any info I get.

So no to Converse?

In my experience, converse can be hit or miss, some parts are kinda methy but some parts are just fine.
