Columbus- home of WR Percy Waddle. Was on my flag football team. Great HS player.
Yes sir, my brother played and graduated with him. Very humble guy and wish things would have worked out better for him.

Born and spent my early years in the DC suburbs, moved to Dallas in 1979 (8th grade), to San Antonio in 1995. Lived in the Hunters Creek area the entire time.

I've contemplated moving back. I work from home. The wife works in medical billing so lots of opportunities there... And my parents are aging.

The downside is we just sold our ranchero in Yancey and have a place near Thorndale that was bought for us build on. And other than family, we don't know a lot of folks in SA (other than a couple of old high school friends.)

Southsider here. Moved away for A&M, came back for grad school, worked all over Texas and have finally gotten back to SA. We love it and hate it for all the same reasons as everyone else who lives in the area. Great places to raise kids, lots of independent municipalities (can't imagine paying the taxes we pay and being subjected to City of SA police and schools), but coming to hate the blue politics more and more.

Born in Ft worth only there 10 days then off to San Antonio! So I would call myself a lifer, grew up in Castle hills, I am feeling old since I remember them building Malibu and castle golf! Watched Star Wars 3 times in a row at the Wonderland theater! I was also part of the redistricting of Lee and Churchill. Sister went to both, I went to Private schools, SAA, TMI, Keystone and eventually SMA as a border.

Graduated married a girl whose family was from San Antonio and have not left since. Politics have gotten worse but they have everywhere so not sure we are different than any other city.

Transplant 2010 via BCS the previous 15 years.

Live in Fair Oaks Ranch and bought a few acres to build our forever place. We love it here. Especially since we can do stuff inside the loops and gtfo in 20 mins.

I was born in Anchorage. My dad was in the Air Force, so we moved around a lot. Graduated from H.S. in the Denver area.

My wife grew up in Inspiration Hills. Graduated from Holmes in '70.

I was based in Dallas with Delta. We had a lot of flexibility with where we lived. I just had to show up for work on time. So I talked my wife into moving back to S.A. in '93.

We bought a few acres in Country Place out 281, but it took too long to get the house designed and started. We needed to get settled and bought a house in Inwood. We've been there since '95. My wife had her reservations about moving back home, but she's happy that we did.

From southeast Texas but moved here in 2009 after graduation. Really enjoy living here and can't imagine having to live in Houston (the most likely alternative for me). Married someone who grew up here too, so we know a lot of people.
