Been trying to hit up different restaurants/food trucks in SA and wanted to see if anybody had some good spots or holes in the wall to go to. I went to Gino's off of Huebner last week for the Philly Cheesesteak and it was pretty damn good.

Geno's is outstanding. Guajillo's at Blanco and 410 for authentic Mexican.

North Saint Mary's strip has a lot of interesting choices. Singh's brisket rice is phenomenal. Curry Boys BBQ also good.

Went to glorias at the Rim today. Highly overrated and overpriced. I've had better food at freebirds

Had lunch at Brasserie Mon Chou Chou in The Pearl today. Sat outside till the rain hit. They moved us PDQ to an inside table, refreshed our drinks.
It's a proper bistro, food and drinks were good. Service was spot on.

why did yall get rid of the colonnade location ?
Collonade was the #1 location at lunch, but didn't do much business at night and weekends so it was a break-even. We were bleeding cash in Stone Oak at the time so decided to shut both down and re-focus. We were about to try and expand again in Boerne then Covid hit in March literally days before we were prepared to sign a lease.

I had a breakfast boat the other day when I was in SA for business. I forget what it was called, had 3 different peppers and chorizo. It was very good.

Also I am a big fan of the 3 amigos burger but man sometimes the serranos are way more intense. It's like a Russian roulette 1:6 chance it's gonna come out hotter than 98.6 on the back end.
