I moved my mother to The Laurels in San Antonio about a year ago. It is located on Knights Cross off Stone Oak Parkway. We are very pleased with the facility and staff, and they have made a difficult decision somewhat less difficult.

I don't know a lot about them, but I've heard Incarnate Word has a really nice facility. It's supposedly pricey, but I'm sure most good ones are.

Second on Incarnate Word, my mother spent six years there, three of my cousins have have lived there, and I've known many others as well, from independent all the way to nursing care they run a first class operation.

My Mother in Law is at Shavano Park Senior Living. 1604 between NW Military and Bitters. Been pretty happy with facilities and care
Not when I'm done with it.

I have heard good things about Adante.

A friend's dad just moved in there and they are very pleased.

Located on Huebner behind Churchill Estates.

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. My Father-In-Law passed away last week so I haven't had much time. We ended up going with Brookdale Assisted Living (Oakwell Farms). Dean and staff were incredible. He was only there for 18 days but I recommend them highly.
