Anyone else underwhelmed by all the renovations? Aside from the new video board, which I concede is way cool, I just don't see the "wow" factor. Also, I noticed lot 6 parking jumped from $8 to $15 dollars. I guess they need to pay for that video board.

$100 million is an unbelievable amount to spend so quietly .

You haven't seen the entire stadium if you think it's underwhelming.

Renovations noticeable for rampage games? Thats about the only time I'll be able to see it aside from when my Milwaukee Bucks come to town early December.

Everything about the ATT Center is underwhelming.....

The overall exterior appeal and location are definitely underwhelming as everybody knows. The inside of the stadium as far as bars, the courtyard, charter level, view from seats, concessions, fan interaction, etc is top notch. I admit I haven't been to every NBA arena but I have been to 6 different ones (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, OKC, Phoenix, Golden State) to watch NBA games and the AT&T Center is great in a lot of ways, especially during the playoffs.

They must have got a heck of a deal on white paint.

The empty grey seats are a lot more noticeable than the empty black seat were.

The main walking area with all the food and bars felt sterile. My dad said he liked it because it was brighter, but it felt very blah and underwhelming to me. The new seats are pretty bad...it felt like someone screwed up with ergonomics. Maybe it's because I'm short, but the armrest/cup holder combo is really awkward and uncomfortable. While it was a pain to make sure to pick up your drink before someone walked down the aisle, it was better than the current armrest set up, in my opinion.

The video board is really nice though. And the food options look to be a little better than before. The only negative food-wise I could find, and maybe it was the part of the arena we were in, but do they've reduced the tap beer selection from about 4-5 to maybe 2-3. Not a huge deal, but still a negative in my opinion.

Same thing happened to me. It was a bad first impression when you walk in and see nothing but white and not seeing the trophy case when you walk in the main entrance. Seemed like a step back.

After seeing what +$100 million gets in renovations at other buildings I guess I had high expectations of upgrades and remodeling. Just seemed like they just replaced existing paint, furniture and seats for the most part. The video board was the only thing that stood out.

At least the team is managed better then the decorator they hired. GO LOS SPURS GO!

Hosted clients in our suite last night for the first time this year. Was very underwhelmed. Terrible designing the new suites, white everywhere, grey seats in the lower section stood out badly, and food was terrible (has been for a while though).

Caught myself watching the video board the whole game like I was at Jerryworld.

i was involved on the lighting. The packaged was VE and the whole project was way over budget. I think a lot of the glamour was taken away. The timeline was so aggressive that a lot of the cost was in the labor to get the job done and scoreboard.

They also spent substantial dollars on mechanical system upgrades (A/C and plumbing). And, I like the new seats, personally.

Haven't been this year, but coming later for a warriors and a Rockets game. I'll tell you with extreme confidence that AT&T last year was better than Toyota Center ever has been.

So you've seen the video of water running out of the can light?

I haven't. I haven't been out there yet.

Also sounds like a plumbing problem, not a lighting issue

I agree new seats are terrible. Arm rests are too thin to use. I mostly keep them up now.

New video board is cool though.

I like them. It forces people to keep their arms to themselves. Can't stand being surrounded by people who take up the armrest.

New seats are NARROW! My butt barely fits between two drop cup holders and I'm not that fat.

I've actually been quite pleased with the renovations, tbh. Maybe I'm easy to please (or maybe I'm just overjoyed to have moved back to town and be able to attend more than one game every couple of years), but I'm a fan of what they did with the place.

The Rock N' Brews pub they just opened is badass.

Not sure I agree here. The Toyota Center has wider concourses, top notch downtown setting, nicer suites, and a scoreboard that's been better than the new AT&T scoreboard for several years already. I've always been underwhelmed by AT&T. The only advantage is probably actual seating for non-suite fans.
