I posted about this on the Austin board too, but we're looking for somewhere pretty cheap, like a public park or so. It will be a fairly small ceremony (~75 people). Has anyone had any good experiences with a location?

If you like cool rustic places look into Anhalt Hall. It's just west of Spring Branch.

When we looked at it Anhalt was only like $500. Best part was that gave you access to the hall to set up for like 6 days. Either Tuesday to Sunday or Wednesday to Monday.

That sounds like a hell of the deal on Anhalt. Don't forget the Alamo itself or the Japanese Tea Garden in Brackenridge Park http://www.sanantonio.gov/parksandrec/directory_japanese.aspx. The golf course at Brackenridge Itself might work as well. If you are looking to spend bank the JW is really nice.
