The rib and I have a couple of chairs we want re-upholstered, They were made of a cheap leather-like covering that fell apart on us, and since they are in good shape otherwise, we'd hate to just chunk 'em on brush pick up/bulky items day.


Anybody know of a furniture re-upholster place, or has this too gone the way of our 'just throw it away and get a new one' society?

people throw them away because many times the cost to reupholster a chair is more than what you would spend for a good antique or new chair.

that being said if you do want to go that route i would either call an antique shop and ask who they use or take it arrow upholstery.

I've heard great things about skinners upholstery in New Braunfels. I have also heard horror stories about Arrow

Anyone remember the old lady in the Arrow commercials? The commercial that came on in the afternoons on KSAT during Three's Company in the late 80's. They still use her at the end of the commercial. Anybody know who she is? She has to be dead now.

That old lady was creepy.

My parents just used a place called "Creations" They're way down Fredericksburg rd. M&D said that they did a good job. Number is 733 thirty nine fifty four.
