So I was just watching the kens5 6 o'clock newscast and there was nothing said about the game tonight.... But guess what it's the beginning of march so they can talk about tu football...

This is a huge reason why I don't watch local newscast because there is so much homerism here for the sips... Today I just happened to leave the whole newscast on while I was eating and was treating to a whole story of crap about the longhorns qb

There's no denying that SA is a t-shirt sip & cowboy town, so the news is going to emphasize those two. But c'mon .... last night at 10:00 I was flipping thru every local channel, and not one word about the Ags basketball game - but two channels had clips on tu's spring practice and their new qb.

I generally don't watch the local news, but I got sucked into WOAI's coverage during the Olympics. When did meteorologist Jennifer Broome get a sweet rack? I would like to think I would've noticed this at some point in my six years in this town.

Looks like the boob job made her cross eyed.

News to me...I remember Sugar's had her in mind when allowing TV weather women in on their itty bitty contest.

WOAI weekend sports with David Chancellor is your best bet for Aggie sports.

But lets be honest here, tu is extrmely popular and they have to show what is popular to their audience.

Remember, the last time tu football won less than 10 games in a season, the current high school seniors were 7 years old!!!!

We are also a footnote in football on our best days with SA news.

HOWEVER... ON Ticket 760 today (AM 760 radio), I heard Mike Taylor mention "The Aggies" in a lead-in but I did not hear the actual story/discussion... I imagine it was about our great BB team and their success/over achievement this season... which gives me hope. Because if you WIN, they WILL eventually talk about ya.

Matsui... I understand that most of tu has a tshirt following here but still... There are plenty of Ags here in San Antonio for them not to ignore us... It's really irritating actually

all Mike Taylor knows is dallas- he is worthless panderer- although I heard him rip on Waco saying he won't even stop for gas or food b/c the city is so crappy and worthless

brp, i heard the same thing on taylors show but it was about the time i was pulling in the driveway at home and didnt wait to hear the actual story. my guess was like yours, thinking he was probably going to talk about mens bball.

One of the downsides of not having to drive to work (plus being addicted to listening to my burned CDs in the car/truck everywhere I go).

In SA you cannot even listen to Aggie football games if you are outside of Loop 1604 after the sun goes down...

Hopefully the Ags will work with Talk 106.7 to air the games. That station has a great broadcast area. I picked it up in Rockport.

let's hope nobody picks up Aggie football till a 3 year old takes over the broadcast

Harris on 4 never coveris anything A&M. He managed to slip in his Alma Mater Mean Green of UNT last night but not the Aggies. Winning will help as will some emails to all of the local stations GMs
