We are installing new kitchen countertops and backsplash as well as replacing the existing under cabinet fluorescent light fixtures. Looking to either do hardwired LED light fixtures or maybe the LED strip lighting. I believe the hardwired fixtures are supposed to last longer vs the strip lights but any recommendations on brand/model or what others have done is greatly appreciated.

We typically use a COB flex lightning in our cabinet builds. Hardwired back to transformer & wall switch. Color options are endless. Clients love them.

I used this one and have been happy with it. Installed about 1.5 years ago and no issues so far. They work great with a dimmer switch.

They are expensive. They just work. You can set up custom colors and animations and time of day settings and more.

Anyone have a rec for something smart? Would tie into a power outlet but would need the strips or an under cabinet hub to be smart

Could probably use one of solutions posted above with a smart plug. We have a few of the Lutron controllers for lamps.

I'm needing to hard wire it
