Howdy, continue on my quest for the perfect (for my wife's sake) robot vac/mop. Had an iRobot for 10 years, it was OK, but very long in the tooth. In March got a Eufy 25 with the rolling mop. It does a 85% job, mopping is great. Vacuum is good, but it does not get into corners or under things like cabinet overhangs. And while this is a great improvement over Marsha having to do this weekly, about once a month she has to do the old time thing with mop and broom in all corners and overhangs.

What is y'alls experience with Robot Mop/Vac????

Get one that has rotating/spinning mops and periodically washes the mop while cleaning. We had a Roborock for a few years that was pretty good. The Dreame l40 Ultra Gen 2 we bought earlier this year is even better. It does get under our cabinets and does a pretty good job with corners. It's not perfect, but it's better than our previous ones.

We have a Roborock qrevo plus. Had it for at least a couple of years. It has a mop head that extends out when running along baseboards so it will get the corners, then retracts when it's not. Pretty much all the major brands should have this feature available.

We love it. Not the top of the line model but has all the features we need - room mapping, quiet setting for nighttime cleaning, self cleaning mop, etc.

I used to have an iRobot i7 vacuum and iRobot Braava Jet M6 for mopping. The M6 sucked. It struggled to navigate around the house and sometimes would just wander in a circle like it was lost. It wasn't terrible when it worked but hard to get it to work.

Based on the link above, I bought a Roborock Qrevo CurvX and it's pretty good. It does a pretty good job with a brush that extends into the corners as well as a mopping pad that does the same. I'm sure there are better options if you are willing to pay more.

Edit to add that the Roborock I have has a lidar sensor on top that adds to the over height but can sink down and be flush with the body to get under cabinets or other low furniture (it uses a front camera instead of lidar to see when this happens). I've purposely bought furniture with legs to allow a robot vac to get under them and clean the dust and dog hair.

I have the Dyson one. It's head is more like a traditional vacuum and flat across the front. It can go under things and in corners nicely. It's suction and roller is impressive. Picks up way more than my old roomba. It's mapping and app are a little quirky.

I've had the top of the line Roomba and Shark robot vacuum / mop combos. The Shark is a much better machine than the Roomba. The machine is better and the app is much better on the Shark.
