Our old unit finally needs replacing and looking for your recommendations and costs. It's for a 2100 sq Ft house with pretty good insulation. We got an initial quick quote, but I'd like to know what others have done.

Try Mosqueda Cooling and Heating. We used them for our new install and it was great. Joshua is great and I think even does some teaching out at some of the RELLIS classes, I believe? Or maybe used to.

We have the BEST HVAC techs all over Brazos Co now, so it comes down to brand opinions.
That said, Consumer Reports shares their opinion but the street-wise know that behind the curtain quality & ownership of all those are changing and never up to date.

We have done Carrier single phase for 40 years due to sports buddies
now Trane variable phase due to biz in-the-know buddy and feel very spoiled.
The former HVAC Co names have changed & top techs moved to other names,
current name is Barkers.
