I made the mistake, years ago, of having Renewal-by-Anderson give me an estimate. Their estimate was a no-go (3-4x the estimate from nearly every other estimate) and ever since then I get repeated offers from them in my mailbox.

I recently found this link (from Reddit) that purports to provide a means of unsubscribing from their USPS mailings. I tried it yesterday, so we'll see.

Hopefully it's genuine. I'd think if it wasn't legit, then they'd be asking for more contact info (email, mobile, etc) just to harvest that info. But, they don't ask for that (just name & address, which is already widely available).

Funny. Doubt it will work. Eventually they fade out.

I called four years ago after purchasing our current house. The previous owners had had all of the windows but two replaced by them. I figured I would at least investigate keeping them all the same. When I called, I was informed that they would not come at all to only quote/replace two windows. Had to have at least four. So I went with someone else.

But, somehow I still made their mailing, email, and phone spam lists. Don't get too much anymore but for a while it was insane.

I've never had contacted that company or responded to any communication from them and I still get **** tons of mail from them. It's obnoxious and it's obvious they have insane profit margins if they spend that much on marketing.

I started getting their mailings at my dad's house and my own house. Seems they bought the same list as the people who call me trying to buy my dad's house from me. It started after we filed my mom's will with the court in a probate proceeding. Dad is clearly still around, but I'm the only kid listed because the will was written in the 80s before I lost my title as only kid. I guess someone decided I own the house now.

Thanks for the PSA…I have a couple of non-profits that send me so much marketing mail from some old donations. I just tried to finally reach out and have it stopped.
