Some exterior lights quit working all of a sudden.

My exterior flood lights and carport lights are on the same switch. All of my carport lights quit working at once, but my flood lights still come on/off without issue. What should I be looking for?

Everything is LED.

GFCI tripped? Breaker?

Checked the breakers first thing. They're all good. I'd assume none of the lights would work if it was the breaker though.

If they were on the same circuit, yes.

Make sure the GFCI on that circuit is not tripped.

What order are they in?

Not sure.

I have 8 of the LED pucks under my carport and the LED floodlights are at each corner of the house (8 more lights). Prior to a couple of weeks ago, when I flipped the switch, everything came on. Now, only the floodlights come on, as pictured. I checked the breakers as recommended, and that doesn't appear to be the issue.

So ALL those lights are on the SAME switch but only some work? If that's the case I misinterpreted the problem.

Since it's the same switch for all lights, you've likely got a loose connection or a chewed up wire somewhere. So many of those LED puck products use Wago connectors instead of wirenuts - my money is on one of them. Could be on the hot or neutral side.

Hard to say how this is wired sequentially, but maybe you have some pics from your remodel that can help trace it out. Either way, you're just going to have to pull down those pucks and check the connections in the supply boxes. I would start at the pucks closest to the switch and the floods, because the connection that would cause these symptoms likely at one of those points. If you don't find any issues with the puck connections you should also check connections at the switch and the floodlights.

Wire corrosion at first splice point? Low voltage and moisture cause the metal inside to corrod pretty quick. I have started using dielectric grease on all my splices and joins to help stop this and its worked great for years now even on my underground low volt wires.
