Few years ago bought some thin 6" LED recessed ceiling light from Home Depot (or Lowes?).
No problems with them to date.

Now we're remodeling a house and want to add these in a few rooms, so we'll need a couple dozen of them.

Pricing is much better for those quantities on Amazon then they are from the box stores.

Any of you bought any from Amazon?

For those that had a good experience with the product, which brand did you select?

Thanks

This is a lights out product and looks way sexier and more stylish than the typical disk lights that look like bubbles on the ceilings. We use these everywhere. WAC is a good brand too.

Get an extra pack in case some of them go out over time because they are a fixture and not a bulb. Installed over 3500 of these and have had to replace a few after a couple years so good success rate. They take the 4" circle junction box.

Recently installed a bunch of these in new construction. Originally purchased some similar to the product mentioned in op, but returned those and went this direction to avoid having to wire in junction boxes or cans.

When we had a ton fail after buying this house I had an electrician come out to make sure nothing was squirrelly and he recommended amico so that's what we replaced everything with. No issues so far.

We have 80+ of the Amazon wafer LED lights (the ones that are the same thickness as the drywall). We love them because they just disappear in the ceiling and we haven't had any issues with them going on 5 years now.

I just replaced an American Lighting LED fixture in the kitchen that burnt out after 10 years. LED lighting technology has changed in the last 10 years, and all I needed was a fixed 3000K fixture, not the selectable 2700k to 5600k, that are now available.

I went back to an American Lighting standard 3000k fixture with an E26 socket connector for my recessed can. 900 lumens was sufficient, didn't need 1000 to 1200 lumens. Replacement took a couple of minutes - remove the old fixture and screw in the E26 cord.

In order to make sure the whole kitchen had the same lighting, I replaced all three fixtures. I will toss the defective one and keep the other two for replacements in the living room when they go defective.
