About to start putting the house back together after tree/water damage from Hurricane Beryl.

We are thinking we would like to install an unstained engineered flooring with a thicker wear layer that allows for multiple sanding life cycles.

Any recommendations on finishes that will stand up to our dog's paws?

I read an article that said to test all the engineered hardwoods with your car key. Basically scape it as hard as possible and see if it scratches. If it passes that test it will be ok with dogs.

We did that at the discount flooring store in Bryan and I found only 1 product that did not scratch. We have had it installed for 13 years and it still looks good. We owned 2 dogs and after they died we still dogsit for friends.
