Leak under the dishwasher is now repaired, but has caused a severe buckling in 2 planks. Like they are raised up at the seam like a tent!

Is it as easy to repair as cutting out the old planks, trimming the "tongue" off one of the replacements and setting them in(gluing down, etc. of course)?

Get them dried first before cutting. You'll be pissed when you cut them and then they dry all the way out and shrink leaving you with short boards.

Give it time. Hopefully it will go back down. My oak floor warped after a shower leaking. After some time it settled back to normal. I want to say it was a month or so.

Just piling on and agreeing. I had 15' of oak flooring that buckled when a pipe leaked. I fixed my pipe and let it dry. All cupping and warps went away.

This isnt just cupping. This is raised up at the seam in a 45 degree angle like a tent where I trip over ut!

I was trying not to bother my floor guy but sent him the pics at lunch today...To which he responded...."Oooh, that's a bad one....gonna have to remove some boards"!

Don't trim the tongue off, cut the bottom off the groove side. That way you can slide the tongue into the groove of the existing board and then put weight down on it and the top of the groove side you left will get it to settle at the correct level. It's not hard to do with a table saw.
