Replacing 12" Under Counter Trash Compactor

We've updated kitchen appliances over the last couple of years and we've gotten to the point where they are all updated new shiny stainless-steel appliances. The one thing that remains old, worn looking, and black is the 12-inch trash compactor that's under the counter. The wife wants to replace it with another compactor, an ice maker, or anything else really, just something new and in line with the rest of our kitchen. The problem is that it appears that a 12" compactor is a thing of the past. I can find 15" compactors and ice makers but nothing in the 12" size. The spot it's in makes it hard to widen the opening (between the sink and a corner) so I'm at a loss. Has anyone solved this riddle?

Not sure how easy it is to pull the front panel, but I had nonstandard size oven doors powder coated a stainless color to avoid replacing the oven. It cost less than $200 for two doors.

Nice Stainless Steel Wine fridge? Get one made for under counters or they have a hard time cooling in a confined space.

Example but plenty more made for 12" spaces. Saw some on home depot too.

This one even has a review about replacing an old trash compactor just like you are looking for.

That'd be the first option to check. My parents did that with a dish washer panel.

I did find these. Not cheap though. Krushr 12 Inch Recycling Compactor
