We have been without power (Spring/Klein area) since Beryl. A large pine tree chopped our electrical wires going from the garage into the house.
As of now we are waiting on an engineer report, which they say may take up to 8 weeks, to determine if the detached garage is salvageable. Obviously, our thoughts are on our home contents and floors, etc with the heat and humidity here.
Our adjuster, who is in Florida, said that there in Florida they will put a pole in the backyard to run the HVAC to the home and he wants us to look into it. I have heard of a pole being put in to run smaller things but the HVAC route would be incredible for us.
I am assuming but really curious if only electricians can do this or is there someone else I should condsider calling? So far we are 0-4 on getting an electrician to even come out to the house. No show twice and one said he wouldn't even come out until all the construction was complete.
Frustrated and trying whatever we can to get something moving in a positive direction. Any help or advice is much appreciated.
